I firmly believe 15 weeks is all it takes for someone to go from out of shape to being in good, if not great shape. I am an on again- off again workout-er! Healthy eating became obsolete during the holidays! It is my first week back to fully focusing on health!! For me, I usually stop working out after 3/4 weeks and then start back up again once I feel my weight creeping up! I have been the SAME weight for 9 years....I might go down or up, but somehow It will be the same
I have seen a lot of beautiful women who are stunning when you look at them. They have the FACE, THE BOOTY and most importantly, A PERSONALITY! Yet, not everyone deals with added pounds with added confidence. For instance, I LOVE showing off my curves---wearing booby dressed and ass grabbing jeans. If you have it, you might as well show them off...I also have reached a level of comfort in my style. My dating app profile says, "need a man that can handle my curves". I appreciate my curves, because not many people have what I have---and I feel unique and beautiful. It thrills me!
Yet, I had some nasty moments as well! One-time, I had an ex-bf call me a "Fat-So". It was in midst another toxic fight, but he never went THERE before--well after that, I completely CUTT him out! Recently, I had a date ask me, "So how curvy are your curves? Beyonce or Nikki? When I met him out and saw he wasn't a fitness model--to be asking the size of my curves it irked me! IT is very hard to not feel the society pressure and ignore the MEAN and NASTY comments people say to you. I also had a dickhead that I was in love with for 8/9 years make me feel that I wasn't good enough for a real commitment.
Somehow, he thought he could get better...hahaha
I was just a person that let my insecurities get the best of me--- From then on, I realized I WILL NEVER SETTLE. If YOU cant handle the sexiness that I am, then YOU can leave.. It takes a real man to appreciate a real women. Flaws and all.
So let's talk--Self-Hate! We self-hate all the time! The truth is we can love others when they have gained a little weight, because we find the whole package super sexy---especially a guy/girl who you are in love with---However, giving ourselves that same compassionate love is UNFUCKINGBELIEVEABLE.
THIS IS IT---
Whether I am a size 0 or size 40, I will always be ME! Crazy cre8tive mojo chic who is who she is---SIZE doesn't change WHAT MAKES YOU SPECIAL! The present is still the same, even if you change the way it is wrapped...
The truth is the self-hate HAS TO GO GO GO! now in 2017--if jumping on that elliptical makes you love your body and curves more than get it!
Follow my 15 weeks to SELF-LOVE!
XO
