Once you have reached a level of success, you plateau. Everything you were working hard for works out. So, there you are- With employees, clients and a running profitable business that took you time to build up----SO, you relax for a minute....then it becomes a month, then a couple months....slowly you start gaining weight, talking on the phone for hours, sleeping in, feeling like a college student. As you become borderline alcoholic---and depressed, you wonder- ---WTF I am successful---
You feel lazy, unmotivated ; the ENTREPRENEURIAL BLUES. At this point, you ask yourself what is next? Do you hand off your responsibilities to someone else and start something new, or do you continue to stay in it for a few and let the dust settle.
THIS IS WHERE IT HITS YOU. You miss the exciting years, where you were building hard, brick by brick with little certainty. the risk level has gone down and some how, you feel completely LOST. It's time for Letting go enough for it to be independent, YET also, just enough to motivate and keep the vision ALIVE..IF you hold on too tight, it falls through your fingers like sand, but if you hold it just enough to support and motivate --it will find it's way.
So there you are, at crossroads....My advice is to go through the motions, you will find your footing.
