It has been 21 days since my horrible stomach flu situation.....a hang over gone really wrong. I lost 9 lbs last month and gained a perspective on LIFE. You REALLY only have yourself. In those scary moments alone battling a sickness I was becoming acquainted with WHO I was NAKED, NO bs. That person that hides under the layers of consciences..........WHO AM I? seem to POP up. Why am I doing this to myself?
And then.......that inevitable question came to my mind.............what am I really looking for?
We try to running away, but most of the time we are not running, we are looking for something so deeply missing, we can't let the EMPTINESS take us over.
WHAT WAS I LOOKING FOR?
I couldn't answer the question......
because what you seem to look for is SUB-CONSCIENCE.
YET, everywhere around you, it is there looking for you.
GOOD or BAD.
In search for more self-reflection I have gone in ISOLATION-MODE. Usually, I get depressed for awhile because I truly love people, but lately, as my bday comes close, I have become introspective.
Anyways, a few things I realized that compensated for alcohol....& alcohol activities
1) Pressed fruit juices.
2) being in bed with my cat, Sanju
3) DECAF flavored coffee from D&D ( Coconut Creme is my best so far)
4) the show "Casuals" on hulu
5) THE SAVED $ YOU ACCUMULATE that I use to go to the beach or towards travel.
6) Night outdoor workout sessions
7)PORN
8) walks in the park
9)becoming a true morning person, because now you are not OUT till late.
10) a nice yummy home cooked meal that you share with a couple close friends or family.
11) A VIRGIN MOJITO....yum.
12)realizing you are boring without alcohol forces you to develop HOBBIES.
13)WRITING MORE
14)MEDITATION
15)zumba
Let's see how long I can go w/o ALCOHOL!
