Dating apps sucks
It makes you feel like you are online shopping for a boyfriend. Everything looks great in the photo but in reality might not fit you the way you want. Anyways, I recent got back on there because I realized binge watching HULU casual seasons isn't going to CUT IT. I was felt like giving it a try again.
Long story short. I met someone on there. We had a 4 day bumble relationship which included getting into 3 arguments, saying goodbye and getting back to talking again. This all happened BEFORE actually meeting. Once we met, I realized I was just nervous. Something that gets the best of me. Usually the first day back from a hiatus is usually nerve wreaking.
so we went for walk and talked. There seem to be a lot of chemistry between us. I have a thing for sexy accents, tan skin men & laid-back personality. Yet, I also like the hopeless romantic charming gentleman. Well, right of the bat I could tell we were so different. and we wanted different things.
Anyways, it ended. I was sad. However, at 34 you know what you want, and what you don't want. I didn't want to be explaining myself and what made me comfortable every conversation. Even though there was attraction, chemistry, and I only gave him a hug that is all, but everything else just didn't fit. I didn't want to let it go initially because it was my first real match from BUMBLE and who wants to go through more guys....
Eventually I realized....this is part of the game. Time to go back to swiping!!
