I had the chance to go away on vacation and it was amazing. I crashed my friends sofa for 4 days! She lives right in LA next to the walk of fame! We had so much fun together...I felt like it was like OLD times. I missed having her around in New York area. She was my high school friend named Kelly, and also a fellow writer. California is so LOW KEY. People are chill, and the sunsets are beautiful.... I felt I found my HAPPY state to visit. When I came back, I almost wished I stayed a little longer in California. It just wasn't enough time. NOT FAIR.

Vacations are so important....and your childhood friends really do refresh you. They remind you of what you are capable of. They remind you of the YOU----you used to be. So many memories. ...This year, I am making it mission to visit all my back in the day---DAY 1 friends....and catch up. My next stop is Syracuse----then DC---then out of country to Trinidad!
