Cre8tive Mojo got a makeover!

I needed a makeover bad! I asked Dorian, the Founder of Closet Rescue, to work her magic on me! Here is the one of the looks for a networking/ fashion show event at a rooftop event I attended. I wore a P-Leather skirt pencil skirt, a white sweater with a gold choker & red lip! THE UPGRADED BASICS!. After getting dress, I NEVER had that many people checking me out before. The craziest thing is I wasn't even showing skin.

She taught me so many things in such a short amount of time. I had clothes in my closet that were just ridiculous and NOT AGE APPROPRIATE! She helped me part with a Mexican low raiser jeans I bought in Rainbow for $10, the many cloths that literally had to GO. and luckily, left me with some remains of my previous closet. After she left---I bagged my old Mexican low rising, tight junior's section wearing self from the floor and FUCKING threw some out and donated the rest. I made room for more. Something simple, but revolutionary.

Another thing I learned is we are always, always, always, more ruthless and critical when it comes to ourselves than to anyone else. It was a way better experience with a stylist, because when they are skilled professions that work their magic on you, the excitement is written on their face, and yours when they find the prefect item!

Also, we forget that we have less than one minute to make a first impression. I don't want to be missing countless opportunities in friendships. business, and adventures. Once I get more accustomed to my new bad ass self, I am looking forward to scheduling another session!!
